Friendly and professional mobile footcare service in Didcot and surrounding areas.
I am a graduate of The SMAE Institute and currently work as a Foot Health Practitioner (FHP) in South Oxfordshire.
Before graduating as an FHP, I earned an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. In addition, I have been working for the NHS since 2015, engaging with patients and the public.
As a Foot Health Practitioner, I provide home visits to trim nails and treat conditions such as corns, calluses, ingrown nails, athlete’s foot, and verrucae. As a member of the Open College of Foot Health Professionals (MCFHP) and the British Association of Foot Health Professionals (MAFHP), I am committed to upholding the Code of Ethics and the established Rules of the Association. I also ensure that my practice is fully covered by professional insurance.
Foot care is essential for maintaining overall health and mobility. The feet support the entire body and are crucial for balance and stability. Neglecting foot health can lead to common issues such as ingrown toenails, fungal infections, and diabetic neuropathy, which can cause pain and limit activity.
Did you know that about 75% of people will experience foot problems at some point in their lives?
Regular foot care, including proper hygiene, nail trimming, and choosing the right footwear, can prevent many of these issues. Additionally, good foot health contributes to improved posture, reduced pain, and greater confidence in movement, ultimately enhancing quality of life.
